The diamond-tough grip particles in the rubber compound grip the driving surface and improve the tire's ice grip. The pocket-shaped pump sipes on the tread blocks of the tire's outer edges ensure good contact with the driving surface. To prevent slush-planing, sharp triangle-shaped slush penetrators were designed on the critical shoulder area.
