Kumho Ecowing ES31 on välja töötatud järgides rehvi tootmisel nn Eco-filossoofiat - ehk  kasutada rehviturvise kummisegus keskkonnasõbralikke ühendeid.

Rehvi asümmeetriline turvisemuster parandab sooritust nii märgades kui ka kuivades tingimustes.

Optimaalne haarduvus märjal teel saavutatakse spetsiaalselt kujundatud nelja veesoone abil, et kiiresti ja tõhusalt eemaldada rehvilt pinnavett vesiliu tekke takistamiseks. 

Kumho Ecowing ES31 mudelil on kasutusele võetud ka nn aerodünaamilised rehvi õlaplokid, parandamaks õhuvoolu liikumist rehvi külgpinnal, et seeläbi parandada rehvi kütusesäästlikkust.
